Born and raised in Los Platos, Paldea.

She never had any interest in Pokémon or in anything, she had always felt empty inside.

Her parents were always busy, so she was always alone. In school, the other kids made fun of her for being different. She started skipping school until she stopped going for good. Not that her parents cared.

On her 13th birthday, she was given an Eevee as a pet to try to make her happy, but she didn't want it. That night, she and her parents got into a big fight, everyone screaming over Eevee's cries. It gave up and hid behind the sofa, scared.

Over the years, Eevee tried and tried, but she didn't care for it. The Eevee was insistent, trying day and night to make her smile. She didn't want to accept its love, she didn't feel worthy. She spent all her days inside her room, doing nothing.

One day, mere weeks after her 16th birthday, another fight ensued and the Eevee disappeared, making Ivy feel guilty, so much she left the house alone, the first time in months to search for it. It was her fault it escaped, it didn't feel loved. Just like her. She knew this, and knew she should've given it more attention, but it was too late now.

She walked and walked, with the night sky filled with stars watching her. She ended up on top of a small mountain, the air was cold, especially for the time of the year. There, she found the Eevee looking to the sky with sad eyes. She ran to it with tears on her eyes and hugged it. Together, they looked up to the sky as a shooting star raced across the sky, and she made a wish with tears running down her cheeks. They fell asleep shortly after.

Her wish was for courage, courage to be herself.

The next day, she finally knew what she wanted to do. She gathered her stuff, put her hair in two cute ponytails, said her goodbyes and went on an adventure.

She camped on the South Province for days, eating only berries. She started doubting herself again, wondering if she should've left, if she were capable of living a life like that.

Soon enough, a Naranja Academy student called Eli^[1] challenged her to a battle, in which she got utterly defeated. She was looking for a Wattrel, and after sticking together for a couple of days, Eli told Ivy she should join Naranja Academy and the Gym Challenge.

Clavell let her join the Treasure Hunt in the middle of the school year he as saw potential in her. She met all the teachers, Emerald being her homeroom teacher.^[2] After that, she and Eli start traveling together, tackling the Gym Challenge at the same time.

In the mean time, she started collecting evolution stones for Eevee, though every stone she offered, it refused to use it.

They made their way to Cortondo town to face Katy, the first gym leader. Ivy relied on her Eevee's quick moves to gain advantage and defeat her. This was her first real victory, boosting a bit her confidence.

One night, camping on the South Province, near a pond, they heard a sound outside. They looked at each other, and after playing rock-paper-Scizors, Ivy went outside to investigate. A Misdreavus scared her the second she came out. Instead of crying, she started laughing, which caught the wild Misdreavus' attention.

The following nights, it kept trying to scare her to no avail. The day they started picking up their tents, it came back with a Poke Ball, signaling Ivy to capture it.

One day, she found a strange coin on the floor. After asking Jetsam^[3] and Raifort about it she discovers it belongs to a Gimmighoul, and a legend that says that something good would happen if she collected 999 coins. She starts collecting them as a side quest.

After the gym in Artazon, she and Eli went back to Mezagosa and they ate a paella together, strengthening their friendship. Ivy started feeling comfortable with her around, though with an unusual feeling, warmth in her chest.

One day camping near some ruins, a Tinkatink stole one of her pans. She ran behind it until they both collapsed from exhaustion. Eli brought them back to the camp and let them rest for a while. The next day, Ivy captured the Tinkatink.

At Naranja Academy, Linus^[4] and Iono came to do a presentation about the history of Area Zero and all the mysteries involved. This piqued Ivy's curiosity. She asked around for a way to go there, realizing she'd need to be a Champion Rank trainer to even get the permit.

This ignited a flame in Ivy's chest. She had to get stronger to uncover Area Zero's mysteries. Raifort lent her old journals, fueling theories about the Terastal phenomenon's origin. Ivy starts taking detailed notes in a special journal.

After defeating Kofu they made their way into Porto Marinada and had a battle there. Ivy was near defeat when her Eevee evolved into a Sylveon, giving her the victory. She knew that for a Eevee to evolve to a Sylveon it needed to have a strong connection and a lot of trust with its trainer. Ivy kneeled down and hugged it with tears in her eyes.

They continued their travels, defeating the gym leaders, battling each other and searching for old coins as their bond deepened. One of those days, after defeating Iono, they got up Levincia's lighthouse and held hands while watching the sunset.

On a tough route, they were attacked by a wild Primeape. Before they could react, Tinkatink protected them. In the middle of the battle, it evolved into Tinkatuff and defeated the Primeape.

Ivy planned a stop at Zapapico Town. Eli seemed nervous. When Ivy asked, she said she didn't like that town and they should skip it. Ivy debated that they should visit every place they can but Eli kept making excuses. Ivy didn't want to camp again that night. She felt something wasn't right so she challenged Eli to a battle, if she won, Eli had to tell her what's wrong.

Eli lost that battle, she told Ivy the truth. That was her hometown and she hadn't seen her parents in a long time as she ran away from home. Ivy hugged her. They skipped that town, it wasn't worth the trouble.

Both soon arrived at Glaseado Mountain to battle Ryme and Grusha. Ivy relied on Eli's Fuecoco to keep her warm, as she's not good with the cold. Ryme gave Ivy a Dusk Stone to evolve Misdreavus into a Mismagius.

Before going to the Paldean League to prove they're worth of the Champion Rank, Eli and Ivy had one final battle. Eli entered the league first.

She made her way through the interview and the Elite Four, although barely. She was now face to face with Geeta. After a arduous battle she won, where Sylveon dealt the final hit. Geeta congratulated her and walked her to the exit. Rika joined to congratulate them both.

Eli was waiting outside to celebrate they were now Champion Rank Trainers, Ivy ran and gave her a hug and locked eyes with her. After a few seconds that felt like hours, they untangled. Ivy, red as a tomato, started thinking of their travels together, about how her heart starts beating faster when she looks into Eli's eyes.

She grabbed Eli's hands and started talking.

"This journey... Since I met you we've been getting stronger together and searching high and low for treasure... Somewhere along the way, walking beside you, battling beside you... I realized I'd already found it, and it was at my side the whole time." --She looked straight into Eli's eyes.-- "You're my treasure, you're everything I never knew I needed. You make me feel safe, under-"

Eli's eyes widened, filling with tears and before she could finish the sentence, Eli jumped to kiss her, their first kiss. Geeta and Rika cheered.

Ignore the Blueberry Academy outfit.

They went back to Naranja Academy hand in hand having found their very own treasure. They started dating that day.

After that, they continued their school year as normal... But Ivy had an itch for adventure. She tried to get a permit to go to Area Zero, but got denied, Geeta didn't think she was ready. She stayed still, though pestering Raifort for more theories until the holidays came.

Evolved from an Eevee, her first partner Pokémon. It wasn't sure of what it should evolve to, and after a lot of time traveling together, it evolved into Sylveon. It evolved right after her battle with Eli on Cortondo town.

A unusually small Mawile, when they met it looked at Ivy with hunger, and fear in its eyes. Ivy stayed in the area, leaving food for it every night. Before leaving, the Mawile approached her tent and joined her team.

Evolved from a Tinkatink, it stole one of Ivy's pans to make a new hammer. Ivy ran behind it to take it back until they both collapsed from exhaustion.

When she first to Galar, her Tinkaton took a Corviknight from the sky. She felt so bad that she cured it and caught it.

One night while she was camping, a wild Misdreavus scared her. The Pokémon found it funny, and stayed around until she decided to capture it.

A shiny Pokémon that was left alone after a group of kids chose their first partners, as it looked different from the others. It looks up to Sylveon and it's a bit scared of Mismagius.
